Founding Vendor Program
A wedding platform built to win when you do. Be one of the founding vendors who built it.
Claim your founding spot while your category has one open, and lock in:
Only 20 spots per category per city. When they're filled, the program closes for good.
The badge lives with the account. If the account is delisted, deleted, removed, or cancelled, the badge goes with it and it cannot be reinstated, even on a new account opened later with the same details. Falling below the maintenance standards is a different thing: the badge comes off, and it goes back on when you meet them again. The lower commission is a separate benefit and runs for 3 years only. Read the program terms.

The Founding Vendor benefits, plain.
Your profile carries the Founding Vendor badge for the life of your account. No term, no renewal, no periodic review that has to approve it again. It ends when the account ends: delisted, deleted, removed, or cancelled. That ending is permanent and the badge is not reinstated afterwards. Sustained failure against the maintenance standards also takes the badge off, but that one is reversible: meet the standards again and it comes back on its own. Couples see who built this with us. Trust signal that earns its place.
The featured spotlight on the vendor browse page rotates through Founding Vendors in your city whenever no paid sponsor holds it. Labeled with your Founding Vendor designation — free visibility, earned by being early.
VERIFIED and ESTABLISHED tier vendors take 1% off their commission on every booking for 3 years: 8% instead of 9% at VERIFIED, 7% instead of 8% at ESTABLISHED. This one is time-limited on purpose: 3 years, then your standard tier rate resumes. The badge is the permanent part, not the discount. ELITE already pays our lowest rate, 7%, so there is no percentage point left to take off it — ELITE Founding Vendors keep that rate and get the same badge, spotlight, credit and directory listing as everyone else in the cohort.
A one-time $100 credit on approval, redeemable toward your first Sponsored placement any time in your first year. Try paid visibility on us.
A listing on our public directory at unitedvows.com/founding-partners, for as long as your account is active on United Vows. SEO-valuable, brand-credibility-grade.

Founding Vendor status comes with six ongoing standards (rating, inquiry-to-contract conversion, activity, unanswered claims, profile completeness, response time). Monthly automated review checks all six. First miss triggers a 30-day grace period. Continued miss moves status to probation. Probation failure takes the badge off.
A seventh check runs alongside those six, on its own clock: your Conflict Resolution Index. It is monitored daily, not monthly, and it has no grace period or probation of its own — if it drops below 75, the badge, the directory listing and the commission reduction come off on that day's check.
That is not the end of it. Both kinds of loss are reversible, and the way back runs on the same clock as the way out. Either way you need both things at once: all six standards met and a Conflict Resolution Index of 75 or higher. A badge that came off on the index goes back on at the first daily check that finds you at 75 or higher. A badge that came off on the six standards goes back on at the first monthly review that finds you passing all six. No application, no fee, no waiting period.
What is permanent is the account ending. If the account is delisted, deleted, removed, or cancelled, the badge goes with it for good. It is not reinstated after a waiting period, and opening a new account later with the same business details does not bring it back.
This isn't to be punitive. It's to keep the badge meaningful. Couples should be able to trust that “Founding Vendor” means “active, high-performing vendor,” every time they see it.
Read the full standards →Program details →None. We need vendors. You need bookings. We share the upside. Commission on the payments couples make you is the only automatic charge, and a Founding Vendor's rate is 1% lower for 3 years — 8% instead of 9% at VERIFIED, 7% instead of 8% at ESTABLISHED. Sponsored placement, pay-per-use drafting help past your monthly allowance, and pass-through costs for a few third-party tools such as electronic signatures are optional, priced up front, and stay off until you choose them.
Leave your details in the form below and a person here emails you if it opens up. Being plain about what that is: a contact list, not a queue. The 20 spots per category per city are counted at approval and are not handed back automatically when a Founding Vendor leaves or falls below standard, so there is no line that moves on its own and no position to hold. If you serve multiple markets, apply for a different city or category where spots are still open.
The Founding Vendor program is open in our 3 launch markets today. We have not set dates for the next ones, so we are not going to give you one. Leave your city in the form below and we will email you if the program opens there. Signing up as a vendor is free and open everywhere in the meantime — the badge is the part that is market-limited, not the platform.
If United Vows shuts down, you owe nothing. Your data is portable. Your couples are yours. We've designed this so vendors take zero risk.
Launching with a large directory of half-claimed vendors is worse than launching with a smaller group of fully committed ones. We're choosing density over volume. The Founding Vendors set the bar for everyone who joins after.
Yes. It is granted for the life of your account, with no renewal and no re-qualification. What ends it for good is the account ending: if your account is delisted, deleted, removed, or cancelled, the badge goes with it and does not come back. The 1% commission reduction is a separate benefit and runs for 3 years, so the discount ending does not touch the badge.
Yes, two ways, and only one of them is final. Sustained underperformance against the six maintenance standards takes the badge off after a 30-day grace period and 30 days of probation. A Conflict Resolution Index below 75 is a separate, seventh check on its own clock: it is monitored daily and has no grace period or probation, so a drop below 75 takes the badge off on that day's check. Neither kind of loss is permanent. Recovery needs both at once — all six standards met and your index back at 75 or higher — and it lands on the clock the loss came off: a badge lost on the index returns at the first daily check that finds you at 75 or higher, and a badge lost on the six standards returns at the first monthly review that finds you passing all six. The badge, the directory listing and the commission reduction come back on their own. No application, no fee, no waiting period. The account ending is the permanent one: if your account is delisted, deleted, removed, or cancelled, the badge is gone for good, and signing up again later with the same business details does not restore it. The goal is to keep the badge meaningful, not to penalize.
We're a startup. We need sustainable economics to grow. 3 years of savings is substantial but bounded so we can keep the platform healthy long-term.
Once your category's spots fill, the Founding Vendor program is gone. Vendors who claim a Founding Spot now take 1% off their commission for 3 years, hold the founding badge for as long as their account lives, and stand at the top of the directory we'll point couples to for the life of the platform.
