Founding Vendor status comes with six ongoing standards (rating, on-platform booking share, activity, dispute history, profile completeness, response time). Monthly automated review checks all six. First miss triggers a 30-day grace period. Continued miss moves status to probation. Probation failure revokes status. If revoked, you can reapply after 12 months.
This isn't to be punitive. It's to keep the badge meaningful. Couples should be able to trust that “Founding Vendor” means “active, high-performing vendor” forever.

What's the catch?
None. We need vendors. You need bookings. We share the upside. The only cost is commission on bookings you actually close, and even then, you save 1 percentage point for 3 years.
What if my category fills up before I apply?
Join the waitlist. If a Founding Vendor leaves the platform or fails maintenance standards, the spot reopens. Otherwise, apply for a different city or category if you serve multiple markets.
What if I'm not in Atlanta, Houston, or Austin?
The Founding Vendor program is exclusive to our 3 launch hero markets. Q3 expansion will open more cities. Sign up for the vendor waitlist to be notified.
What if you fail?
If United Vows shuts down, you owe nothing. Your data is portable. Your couples are yours. We've designed this so vendors take zero risk.
Why a Founding cohort?
Launching with thousands of half-claimed vendors is worse than launching with a smaller group of fully committed ones. We're choosing density over volume. The Founding Vendors set the bar for everyone who joins after.
Can I lose Founding Vendor status?
Yes, through sustained underperformance against the maintenance standards. We give grace periods and probation before revoking. The goal is to keep the badge meaningful, not to penalize.
Why is the lower commission only 3 years?
We're a startup. We need sustainable economics to grow. 3 years of savings is substantial but bounded so we can keep the platform healthy long-term.
