How United Vows keeps things safe
Trust at United Vows
Weddings involve large deposits, long planning windows, and dozens of people you have never met. United Vows is built around four trust mechanisms that work together so couples and vendors can transact with confidence.
Secure Payments
You pay your vendor directly and securely through Stripe, the payment infrastructure trusted by millions of businesses. United Vows never sees your card details, and every payment is tied to a signed contract with clear terms. If the booking goes wrong on one of six checkable grounds, you can file a claim from it and the vendor has seven days to answer.
Learn howVerified Reviews
A review earns the Verified badge only when the couple signed the contract here, paid through the platform, and posted within 37 days of their wedding day. Guests and anyone else can still leave a note: it appears separately, labeled Unverified, and never moves the vendor's rating.

Vendors who send us their paperwork carry a Verified badge: our team reviewed and approved their business documents. It is a signal, not a blanket, so you can filter your search to verified vendors only. Listings we built from public Google information carry no badge and say so on the profile.

You own your data. We honor GDPR, CCPA, and GPC signals. Your wedding plans are private to you and the people you invite. We do not sell your contact details.
Learn howIf you read one thing on this page
Your money goes from you to your vendor. United Vows never holds it, never moves it, and never decides who was right when something goes wrong.
That is also why the other three matter. Because we are not the referee, the record has to be:
- A rating you can act on, because only a couple who signed and paid here can move it. Everything else is visible, labeled, and does not count.
- A contract that says what was agreed before any money moves, which is what a claim is checked against on the six grounds we publish.
- A badge that means one specific thing (documents a person here reviewed), so it is a filter you can trust rather than a blanket over everyone.
