A wedding marketplace that says what it does

United Vows brings couples and wedding vendors together, takes nothing from the couple, and holds itself to claims you can check. This page is the short version of how we work and what we will not do.

Why we built it

Wedding planning is beautiful and unnecessarily complicated. A couple spends months chasing quotes across a dozen inboxes, keeping a budget in a spreadsheet that goes stale the day it is written, and paying deposits to businesses they have met once.

Most of that friction is not the vendor's fault and not the couple's. It comes from the tools in between, which historically charged the couple for the privilege and buried the terms. We wanted the opposite arrangement: free for the couple, paid for by vendors only when a booking actually closes, with the rules written down where anyone can read them.

So the planning side is free and stays free, the payment runs from the couple to the vendor against a signed contract, and every trust mark on the site is something a person here can point at a record for.

What we hold ourselves to

Six commitments, each one backed by something in the product rather than by a sentence on a page.

Couples pay us nothing

Every planning tool on United Vows is free for couples, forever: Vows Assistant, your wedding website, vendor matching, your registry, filing a claim on a booking. We earn a commission from vendors on bookings that close.

Your vendor holds the money

Payments run through Stripe from you to your vendor, who is the merchant of record. United Vows never holds your money and never moves a vendor’s money on its own judgment.

A badge that means one thing

The Verified badge means our team reviewed and approved that vendor’s business documents. Listings we built from public Google information carry no badge and say so on the profile, so you always know which is which.

Claims on facts, not taste

If a booking goes wrong on one of six checkable grounds — a no-show, a late cancellation, nothing delivered, less delivered than the contract names, a duplicate charge, a missed delivery date — you can file a claim from the booking and the vendor has seven days to answer. We do not rule on whose work was better.

Ratings come from real bookings

A United Vows rating is built only from reviews tied to a contract a couple actually signed and paid here. Guests can leave a note, and it is labeled Unverified and never moves the score.

Three cities first

We are opening in Atlanta, Houston and Austin rather than claiming national coverage we cannot back. Depth in a city is worth more to a couple than a map with pins in it.

Where we are today

United Vows has not launched yet, so we have no bookings, no processed volume and no satisfaction score to show you. Publishing numbers we have not earned would be the first broken promise on a page about keeping them. What we can tell you is exactly what exists right now.

  • Opening in Atlanta, Houston and Austin, with vendor listings built from public business information so couples find a populated marketplace on day one. Those listings are labeled, and every business can claim, edit or remove theirs.
  • A Verified badge that is granted only from business documents our team reviewed and approved, and a filter that shows you those vendors only.
  • Every planning tool live and free for couples, with no card required and no paid couple tier to upgrade to later.

How we list vendors explains the imported listings in full, including how to remove one.

What the product does

An assistant you can ask anything

Type the messy, real question — “is $3,000 too much for a photographer in Atlanta?” — and get a straight answer in seconds. It will not invent a number, a vendor or a review, and when it does not know, it says so.

A profile that is already there

If we listed your business from public information, claiming hands you that profile as it stands: every field editable, and the “Listed from public reviews” label comes off the moment it is yours.
