Hip and Hitched is an Atlanta-based DJ and live entertainment company, operating as a subsidiary of RareFormation, LLC, and specializing in weddings and events. Hip and Hitched offers DJ/live band fusion packages combining DJ sets with live percussion and saxophone, as well as jazz trio options for cocktail hours. Founded in 2001 under RareFormation, LLC, with over 20 years of club, wedding, and corporate production event experience; active in the wedding industry for over 15 years and a recipient of 8 years of the Couples Choice award. The team has toured internationally, opening for acts including Bruno Mars, Billy Joel, Gwen Stefani, and The Who. Based in the Southeast, with travel experience described as worldwide. Couples consistently highlight DJ Tim's ability to read the crowd, maintain a packed dance floor throughout the night, and seamlessly blend requested songs with his own selections; the addition of live percussion and saxophone is frequently called out as a standout element.

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Hip and Hitched hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Hip and Hitched, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile — but nothing reaches them until they do.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Hip and Hitched to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
