Downbeat is a Pasadena-based live entertainment and event production company offering bands, DJs, and full production services for weddings and events. Downbeat provides live bands, DJs, audio, lighting, staging, dancers, choreography, and custom music arrangement, with a roster of multiple named bands including the Soultones, AMFM, and the A-List. Downbeat has served as the featured entertainment provider for the Emmy Awards since 2019; the company was founded by Diego De La Rosa, a Musicians Institute graduate and working drummer. Downbeat serves clients across the United States and internationally. Couples consistently report packed dance floors all night, guests asking for the band's contact information, and smooth pre-wedding coordination through detailed music preference surveys and responsive staff.
