Susan Shek Photography is a New York City-based wedding photography and cinematography studio led by photographer Susan Shek, who also offers destination coverage. Susan works in a documentary-style approach, observing and directing without scripted posing, and offers full-day wedding coverage, engagement sessions, cinematography, custom hand-editing, and photo albums, with sneak peeks delivered within 24 to 48 hours and full galleries within one month. Susan began photographing musicians in dark clubs in the early 2000s before transitioning to weddings approximately 19 years ago, and has since photographed approximately 1,000 couples. Based in NYC, Susan shoots weddings locally and at destinations worldwide. Couples consistently highlight Susan's calm and steady presence on the wedding day, her ability to manage large groups including children and pets, her responsiveness throughout the planning process, and the quality of both the photos and video delivered.
