Remixologists

Remixologists is a collective of club-tested DJs based in Manhattan and Brooklyn who provide wedding and event DJ services. The team believes equally in well-organized event timelines and playing the right song at exactly the right moment. They cover music from the last 70 years including soul, funk, disco, rock, swing, ballroom, 80s, 90s, pop, hip hop, reggae, R&B, electro, top 40, and international flavors like Afrobeat, Bhangra, K-Pop, Arabic, Persian, and cultural folk music. The founding DJs have been spinning parties since the 1990s, with co-founder Simon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and serving as Music Director at WQHS, while DJ L'GITT brings 15 years of experience DJing hundreds of weddings and parties. Based mostly in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia, they serve the New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC regions plus surrounding areas including Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia, and have played weddings from Maine to California and Italy. Couples praise the DJs for creating packed dance floors all night, curating deeply personal song selections that resonate across generations, and keeping reserved family members engaged and dancing.
