The Underground Speakeasy and Distillery is a Prohibition-era bar and distillery located in the basement of The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas, offering hand-crafted cocktails, weekly live music, and period exhibits. The Underground features authentic Prohibition-era craft cocktails, a secret drink menu, on-site moonshine distilling, and Roaring Twenties exhibits with artifacts including flapper dresses and Paul Mare's trumpet; access requires a password and is restricted to guests 21 and over. The Mob Museum opened on February 14, 2012, and received national accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) on March 1, 2017. Located in the basement of The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas. Visitors highlight the atmosphere of old music, silent movies, and dark decor; praise specific cocktails such as the Moonshine Mayhem and old fashioned; and note that live jazz is performed after 8 p.m. The venue can accommodate private events for groups of 10 to 130 and lists wedding bookings among its offerings.
