Blue Plate

Blue Plate is a Chicago-based caterer serving weddings, corporate events, private parties, and galas from its headquarters at 1362 W. Fulton St. in the West Loop. Blue Plate is known for made-from-scratch cuisine, highly personalized tastings, menu customization including cultural and allergy accommodations, and a staffing model that runs higher than the average caterer on event days. They are also Chicago's first Green-Certified caterer and a preferred partner at more than 85 Chicago venues. Founded by Jim Horan on August 23, 1983, Blue Plate has over 40 years in the catering business, has grown to more than 430 team members, and was selected as one of four caterers for the Chicago Historical Society. Based in Chicago, Blue Plate operates across the city and is a preferred partner at more than 85 iconic Chicago venues.
