Sway Chicago

Sway Chicago is a Chicago-based wedding and events band offering high-energy dance music for weddings and galas, with a scalable lineup of 7 to 15 musicians. Sway covers a wide range of genres including Top 40, Motown, Classic Rock, R&B, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, and ethnic music, and can add a Chicago Gospel Choir and a Second Line band for ceremony, cocktail, and reception sets. Founded by Steve Biossat, who has recorded soundtracks for Universal Pictures, produced segments for WGN News, and performed as an opening act for The Beach Boys; Sway Chicago was also featured in the 2008 Dennis Quaid film 'The Express.' Based in Chicago, Sway plays events throughout the country. Couples consistently report a packed dance floor from start to finish, praise Steve and the team's attentiveness to song requests and logistics, and highlight standout moments including seamless ceremony music, Marcus's lead vocals, the Gospel Choir, and the Second Line band.
