Connexion Band

Connexion Band is a Chicago-based wedding and corporate band offering full-service live music entertainment for wedding receptions, corporate events, galas, and private parties. The band is fronted by four vocalists (two female, two male) and backed by five studio musicians covering guitar, bass, drums, trumpet/keys, and sax/keys, with a repertoire of over 4,000 songs spanning Big Band, Swing, Motown, R&B, Rock, and decades from the 50s through today. Their approach includes note-for-note reproductions of original recordings, early setup and sound checks before guests arrive, self-contained stage lighting and sound, and MC services for reception toasts and announcements. The Connexion Band has over 40 years of experience and plays between 3 to 4 events per week. Based in Chicago. Reviewers consistently report packed dance floors throughout the night, praise Ray for being easy to work with and responsive, and note that guests frequently asked how to find the band. Several couples highlight the band's range of songs, high energy, and willingness to accommodate special requests such as allowing a father of the bride to sing with them or extending the set past the agreed end time.
