Weddings In Color

Weddings In Color is a San Francisco Bay Area wedding planning collective focused on curated experiences for non-traditional couples, operating as a branch of Make It Mariko, an events agency led by women of color. The team curates a vetted network of diverse, queer, and women-led vendors, with an emphasis on representing people of color, women, LGBT, and minority-owned small businesses in the wedding industry. Weddings In Color is a project of Make It Mariko, which began its event planning journey in 2015 doing strictly weddings and nonprofit events. Based at 447 Minna St in San Francisco's SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural Heritage District, serving the Bay Area. Couples highlight the team's organized, calm presence on the wedding day, their curated vendor options that reduce research time, flexibility when budgets or plans shift, and attentiveness with POC and queer clients.
