Cinderella Bakery & Cafe is a San Francisco Russian bakery and cafe that has been producing traditional pastries, meat pies, entrees, and treats since 1953. The bakery is known for from-scratch piroshki, pelmeni, Napoleon cake, honey cake, rye bread, and Russian breads made from time-honored recipes; it is also one of the only places in the Bay Area serving homemade kvas. Operating since 1953, the business has been owned by Mike Fishman since 2008, who expanded the kitchen, added outdoor seating, and shifted the menu to focus on high-quality local ingredients with everything made from scratch daily. Located in San Francisco's Inner Richmond district at 436 Balboa Street; baked goods are also distributed to specialty delicatessens and food stores from San Jose to Sacramento, with a second location coming to the Mission District in 2026.
