Bayview Opera House (BVOH)

The Bayview Opera House (BVOH), formally known as the Ruth Williams Opera House, is a San Francisco performing arts and community cultural center available for event rentals, including weddings. The venue focuses on Black arts, culture, and artistic skill training, and hosts performances, community festivals, and artist residencies alongside private event rentals. The organization was founded in 1989 to run programs at its namesake building, received its 501(c)3 status in 1992, and the building was inducted into the National Register of Historic Buildings in 2011. Located at 4705 3rd St in the Bayview district of San Francisco, CA 94124. One couple who held their wedding at the venue described it as a beautiful, historic building with kitchen facilities, dressing quarters, and outdoor space.
