Old First Concerts

Old First Concerts is a San Francisco concert series, based at Old First Church on Sacramento Street and Van Ness Avenue, presenting classical and new music performances since 1970. Programs focus on locally based emerging and mid-career professional musicians playing piano solo, chamber music, world/jazz/new music, and holiday concerts, with frequent inclusion of new or rarely heard repertoire. Old First Concerts has been presenting concerts since 1970 and is directed by Matthew Wolka, who began his tenure in January 2017 and has worked as a composer, conductor, performer, and organizer over 25 years. All concerts are held at Old First Church, located at 1751 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94109.
