Smile City Photo Booth is a Berkeley-based photo booth rental service operated by John Davies, serving weddings and events throughout Northern California. The booth features a 12-plus megapixel DSLR camera, a choice of color or black-and-white photos, customizable print banners, fun props, animated GIFs, and a fully customizable exterior wrap; packages range from 2.5 to 5 hours with unlimited booth sessions and a full-time on-site attendant. Smile City travels throughout Northern California; events beyond 40 miles of San Francisco incur a nominal travel fee. Couples consistently praise John's responsiveness, smooth setup and breakdown, high-quality photo prints, and the booth's ability to engage guests of all ages; several couples noted using their booth photos in thank-you cards or as framed keepsakes.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Smile City Photo Booth hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Smile City Photo Booth, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (415) 484-1920. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Smile City Photo Booth to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
