The Mask and Wig Club is a Philadelphia-based collegiate musical comedy troupe, founded in 1889 at the University of Pennsylvania, available to perform at weddings and special events. The club can provide comedic entertainment, musical accompaniment, or full band performances, and stages all-original productions combining comedy, music, and dancing written and performed by its undergraduate members. Founded in 1889 by Clayton Fotterall McMichael, the club has presented over 136 annual productions and has performed for audiences at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, and nationwide.
