Philadelphia Chamber Music Society

The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (PCMS) is a Philadelphia-based concert presenter that brings international chamber music ensembles and soloists to audiences across the city each season. PCMS presents 50 performances per season spanning string quartets, pianists, early music, new music, and an art song series, with a policy of affordable ticket pricing and pay-what-you-wish livestreams from the American Philosophical Society. Founded by Anthony Checchia and Philip Maneval in 1986, PCMS has presented more than 1,750 concerts, commissioned over 75 new works, and presented more than 125 world premieres across nearly 40 years.
