The Wimbish House

The Wimbish House is a historic Midtown Atlanta wedding and events venue located at 1150 Peachtree Street NE, housed in a Victorian-era building completed in 1906 and designated a national, state, and city landmark. The venue features high-ceilinged rooms, hardwood floors, antique crystal chandeliers, grand pianos, fireplaces in virtually every room, and a ballroom, all designed in the eclectic French Renaissance Revival (Chateau-esque) style. Commissioned by Atlanta attorney William A. Wimbish and designed by architect W. T. Downing, the building was completed in 1906 and is now owned and operated by The Atlanta Woman's Club, with proceeds supporting the Club's charitable activities. Located at the intersection of Peachtree and 14th Streets in Midtown Atlanta, with close proximity to hotels, parking facilities, and public transportation.
