Taylor & Co Events is a Chicago-based floral and decor design company founded in 2011 by Derrick Taylor, a fourth-generation event professional, offering full-service wedding and event design. Taylor & Co fabricates its own lighting, fabric draping, installations, and custom decor in-house, including specialty pieces built for other design firms, with a portfolio spanning weddings, galas, holiday installations, and corporate events. Founded by Derrick Taylor, whose family legacy in events dates to 1942, with Derrick himself designing wedding decor as early as 1990 and later serving as a senior designer at Marshall Field's and a senior product designer for 1-800-Flowers before establishing Taylor & Co. Based in Chicago (2819 W. Montrose, Chicago, IL 60618), serving clients across the country and internationally, including as far as Melbourne, Australia. Couples consistently highlight Derrick's ability to translate their ideas into fully realized decor, his willingness to go beyond contracted scope (including adding backdrops and extra flowers at no charge), his team's logistical handling of last-minute pivots such as moving a ceremony indoors, and numerous guests telling them it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.
