Eventful Designs (By Appointment Only) is a Hinsdale stationery boutique offering custom invitations and stationery for weddings, parties, and events, operating under owner and creative director Christy Fortin. Eventful Designs offers a range of printing options including digital, thermography, letterpress, foil, engraving, and embossing, and produces wedding suites that can incorporate custom artwork alongside coordinating day-of stationery such as programs, menus, placecards, and escort cards. Christy Fortin joined Ashley's Custom Stationery in 2020, bringing a background in Public Relations and Strategic Communications; the business was renamed Eventful Designs in late 2023 following Ashley's retirement. Located at 107 South Vine Street in Hinsdale, Illinois, available by appointment Monday through Saturday. Reviews are mixed: some couples praise the team's patience, collaborative process, and ability to incorporate personal touches such as custom artwork, while at least one couple reported issues with undisclosed assembly fees, missing components, and delayed production on a wedding invitation order over $3,000.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Eventful Designs (By Appointment Only) hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Eventful Designs (By Appointment Only), so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (630) 794-0804. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Eventful Designs (By Appointment Only) to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
