Entertainment Specialists is a New England-based full-service entertainment company, incorporated in 1987, offering DJs, bands, musicians, novelty entertainers, photo booths, lighting, audiovisual services, and photographers and videographers for weddings and events. The company provides DJs, live bands, musicians, photo booths (including a roaming photo booth and the Ora booth), wedding games, MC services, audiovisual, uplighting, event decor, and special effects, with individual entertainers including DJs, jazz trios, and novelty acts available for weddings. Founded when Entertainment Specialists Inc. officially became a corporation in 1987, led by Owner/President Mike Amado, who began as a DJ in high school and went on to book acts including Run DMC, LL Cool J, and Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff; the company is referred by 4 and 5 star hotels in the city, as well as Newport mansions and hotels. Entertainment Specialists serves the New England area and represents talent from Maine to Miami. Couples and fellow vendors consistently praise the responsiveness and organization of individual entertainers including Mike Amado, DJ Victor Barruzza, DJ Keith, DJ Antonio, DJ Ron Furr, and DJ Natalie Joly, and highlight the photo booth (including a roaming option with high-quality black and white photos) and live music such as a jazz trio as guest favorites.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Entertainment Specialists hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Entertainment Specialists, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (617) 723-1115. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Entertainment Specialists to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
