Gus & Ruby Letterpress

Gus & Ruby Letterpress is a custom design and print studio with brick-and-mortar retail locations in coastal New England, offering wedding invitations, event stationery, and curated gifts. The studio produces letterpress and foil-stamped wedding invitation suites, day-of printed materials, and birth announcements, with all work designed and printed by hand on antique presses in a New Hampshire studio; co-owner Whitney Swaffield is a third-generation letterpress printer. Founded in 2009 by best friends Samantha Finigan and Whitney Swaffield, the studio has grown to three brick-and-mortar retail locations across Portsmouth NH and Boston MA. Retail and consultation locations in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Beacon Hill, Boston; and the Seaport District, Boston. Couples frequently praise the team's patience through multiple revision rounds, attention to detail, and cohesive day-of suites; guests commonly compliment the finished invitations, including one couple whose 1970s tennis party aesthetic was brought to life across their full stationery package.
