The Grooves Dance Band is an Austin-based cover band available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and fundraisers across Texas. The band covers genres spanning Contemporary and Top 40, Classic Rock, Country and Western, Motown, Pop, and decades from the 50s through the 90s, with a repertoire of 170-plus songs; configurations range from 3-piece to 10-piece depending on budget and venue, and packages can include low dinner sets, professional MC services, dancers, and a DJ for between-set coverage. Led by bandleader Ron, The Grooves have been performing for more than 27 years, playing at venues including the Grand Ballroom at the Adolphus and Salt Lick BBQ, and are listed on The Knot and WeddingWire. Based in Austin, the band travels throughout Texas, including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Tyler, New Braunfels, Corpus Christi, Galveston, Waco, and other cities statewide. Reviewers at weddings, anniversary parties, corporate galas, and birthday events consistently note packed dance floors, a wide variety of songs, band members who interact directly with guests on the dance floor, and responsive communication from Ron.
