Starr Photography

Starr Photography is a Seattle-based portrait and event photography studio led by Starr, a natural light and lifestyle photographer who has been shooting weddings and family portraits in the Seattle area for over 30 years. Starr photographs weddings, engagements, mitzvahs, family portraits, senior portraits, maternity, and branding sessions, working primarily in natural light with training in strobes, and selecting Seattle-area locations as an active element of each shoot. Starr has been a photographer since age 15, shot her first wedding at 18, and has worked as a professional portrait photographer for almost 33 years, including photographing the weddings and senior portraits of children of her original clients. Based in Seattle, Washington, with a focus on the greater Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest. Couples and families consistently note Starr's ability to keep large groups organized and on schedule, her skill with challenging lighting, her calm and communicative approach, and her capacity to make people who are uncomfortable in front of the camera feel at ease.
