Anthera Floral

Anthera Floral is a nature-inspired, fine art wedding and event floral design studio based in Seattle, Washington, led by owner and lead designer Melissa. Anthera's work is led by color and texture, drawing from the way flora naturally occurs in the wild, with clients describing the aesthetic as organic, whimsical, and romantic; the studio sources stems as locally and regionally as possible. Melissa began her career in floral design in 2003 at an independent flower shop in Edmonds, Washington, and started Anthera Floral in 2009; the studio has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Green Wedding Shoes, Junebug Weddings, and Florists' Review Magazine, among others. Based in Normandy Park and available by appointment only, with individual flower deliveries serving the greater Seattle area. Couples consistently praise Melissa's attentiveness to vision and budget, the quality of statement pieces such as draped tent greenery, chuppahs, and floral arches, and the studio's smooth, on-time execution on the wedding day.
