Day Moon Press

Day Moon Press is a Seattle letterpress printing studio, located on Beacon Hill, offering custom letterpress printing and consultation services for wedding invitations and other print projects. Day Moon Press works with clients on handset type, rich papers, relief-printed illustrations, die-cutting, and embossing, producing work ranging from invitations and announcements to posters and prints on substrates including fabric, plastic, and wood. Founded in 1976 by Maura Shapley, the press has over 40 years of experience and has been operating from its current Beacon Hill building since 1982; as of January 2023, full ownership passed to Tess LeNoir. Based in Seattle at 3320 Beacon Avenue South; local customers may pick up Etsy orders by appointment, and the press has tabled at markets in Seattle and Tacoma.
