The Kirk of Highland

The Kirk of Highland is a historic church venue in Denver's Highland neighborhood, available for weddings, private events, and concerts. The Kirk offers three distinct rental areas: an auditorium with original seating, large stained glass windows, and a pipe organ; a 2,800 sq. ft. flagstone patio with a cascading fountain and views of the Denver skyline; and a 4,000 sq. ft. open gallery space for food, dancing, and entertainment with additional stage space. Originally established as a church in the 1890s, the building is a late 19th-century example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture; a full exterior restoration funded in part by the State Historical Fund was completed in September 2025. Located in the Highland neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Couples highlight the vintage feel of the sanctuary, the flexibility of multiple usable spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and the outdoor patio with city views.
