Gothic Theatre is an Englewood music venue housed in a converted art deco movie house, originally built in the 1920s and reopened as a live music space in 1999. The venue favors alternative bands and hosts both local acts and nationally recognized performers, with an intimate layout and sight lines described as good from most areas. Originally the first Denver theatre to show talkies, the building was renovated in 1998 and reopened on June 23, 1999; it is currently operated by AEG Presents.
