Swallow Hill Music is a Denver nonprofit organization, founded in 1979, that presents concerts, teaches music classes for all ages, and offers musical outreach programs in the community. Swallow Hill produces concerts across genres including Americana, roots, bluegrass, folk, world music, jazz, blues, rock, and classical on its intimate stages, and operates the country's second largest acoustic music school with professional musician instructors. Founded in 1979, Swallow Hill has received both the Mayor's and the Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and is an inductee of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and Folk Alliance International's Business Lifetime Achievement awards. Based in Denver, with concerts and community programs extending across the Denver metro area, including at Denver Botanic Gardens, Four Mile Historic Park, the Butterfly Pavilion, the Clyfford Still Museum, and Left Hand Brewing in Longmont.
