Funk Almighty

Funk Almighty is a Chicago-based Pop/R&B wedding band comprised of professionally trained musicians from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. The band performs popular music from the 1970s through current hits, infused with soulful R&B elements, and offers configurations including a cocktail hour trio and a full reception band with an emcee and horn section. Band members have toured and performed with Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Pink, and the group has performed at events ranging from weddings to a 900-person black-tie charity event. Couples and event organizers consistently highlight the band's crowd energy, professional coordination by Daryl and the team, willingness to learn custom songs, and a horn section that comes down onto the dance floor during the reception.
