Castillo Holliday Photo + Film is a Boston-based husband and wife photographer and filmmaker duo shooting weddings entirely on analog film, including 35mm, medium format, instant film, Super 8, and 16mm. The team documents weddings exclusively on film, working across still photography and motion film, with an approach described as sitting between documentary and editorial: quiet direction when needed, full trust when it is not, with no digital photography or video offered. Dominique started her photography business in 2015, Javi began his filmmaking journey in 2018, and together they have documented over 100 weddings; they take on a maximum of 15 weddings per year and book 12 to 16 months in advance. Javi also works full-time in the film and TV and commercial industry as a cinematographer and camera operator. Based in Boston, NYC, and San Diego, serving New England and available for destination weddings worldwide, including the Cape, the coast of Maine, and international locations.
