The Groove Room SF

The Groove Room SF is a boutique ballroom dance studio in San Francisco's Mission District, offering private wedding dance instruction, social dance classes, and dance experiences for couples and individuals. The studio focuses on wedding first dances, flashmobs, and mother/father dances, as well as social dance at all levels, with all sessions held as private 60-minute appointments in a dedicated studio space. The studio has served over 200 couples since 2018, with instructors who previously taught at other Bay Area wedding and social dance studios. Located at 3150 18th St in the Mission District of San Francisco, minutes from SOMA and Folsom St, with in-home lessons also available. Couples with little or no prior dance experience describe instructors adapting to different learning styles, working around tight pre-wedding schedules, and delivering choreography that felt tailored to their skill level and song choice.
