Wedding and Event Pianist

Wedding and Event Pianist is the San Francisco Bay Area solo piano service of Dan Zemelman, available for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and private events. Dan plays across styles including jazz, rock, pop, and classical, and has recorded with blues legend John Lee Hooker and jazz saxophonist Lee Konitz, bringing broad stylistic range to wedding and event settings. Dan won the 14th IMA Independent Music Award for Best Jazz with Vocals album, was a 2015 John Lennon Songwriting Competition finalist, and served as a 1998 Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassador sponsored by the US State Department. He has performed at SF Jazz, Yoshi's, Freight and Salvage, the Fillmore Jazz Festival, and the San Jose Jazz Festival, and recorded on John Lee Hooker's 2004 album Face to Face.
