Casbah Caterers is a Philadelphia wedding caterer and banquet facility located in Port Richmond, offering private events, family functions, wedding catering, and funeral luncheons. Known for reasonably priced homestyle cooking served across two banquet rooms, with a full range of menu options that can be customized for each function. Owned and operated by Irene Smolij, and now her daughter and son-in-law chef, since 1981. Based in Port Richmond, serving the Philadelphia area. Reviewers frequently mention friendly and accommodating staff, good food, and easy access from New Jersey with nearby parking; a small number of reviewers raise concerns about portion sizes and event pacing.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Casbah Caterers hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Casbah Caterers, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (215) 425-0163. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Casbah Caterers to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
