Elegant Event Entertainment is a Thousand Oaks-based DJ company serving weddings and events across Southern California, with Josh Smeaton and Chris Mortillaro as its primary wedding DJs. The company offers DJ and MC services alongside add-on packages that include uplighting and a social media photo booth, plus an online planning portal with timeline tools, song request forms, and questionnaires. Each DJ carries 20 years of experience with thousands of events, and Josh Smeaton grew up attending events with his musician father before developing into a DJ. Serves the greater Los Angeles area, including Ventura County, Santa Barbara, and Orange County. Couples consistently praise the online planning tools, responsiveness, on-site flexibility, and the ability to keep guests on the dance floor; specific highlights include custom song creation, projector use for videos, regular reminder emails, and the photo booth being a hit with guests of all ages.

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Elegant Event Entertainment hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Elegant Event Entertainment, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (818) 484-3230. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Elegant Event Entertainment to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
