SUMAC®

SUMAC is a Hollywood-based Mediterranean and Lebanese caterer and restaurant, founded by Stephanie and Eli Berchan and open to the public since 2021. SUMAC offers a fusion Mediterranean menu built on fresh, organic, and locally grown ingredients, with options including Lebanese bread wraps, kabob, shawarma, falafel, baklava, and manakeesh, alongside plant-based, kosher, and high-quality meat selections for catering events. Chef Eli Berchan trained at the Institut Hotelier Cesar Ritz and Les Roches Hotel Management School in Switzerland, and has worked with hotels including Raffles Dubai and Armani Hotel. Based in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Clients praise the food presentation (including platter and individual cup formats), the accommodating and communicative team led by Eli, and the ability to handle last-minute event bookings for 40 or more guests.
