Five Course Provision

Five Course Provision is a San Jose catering and private chef service offering customized menus for weddings, intimate dinners, and large events. The team builds fully customized, consultation-based menus using thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients, with chefs trained in Michelin-starred kitchens and experience accommodating special dietary needs and multicultural menus. Executive Chef John Alvarez trained alongside Michelin-awarded chefs including Michael Cimarusti at two-Michelin-starred Providence in Los Angeles, Michael Tusk at three-Michelin-starred Quince in San Francisco, Curtis Stone at one-Michelin-starred Gwen in Hollywood, and Rick Bayless at Leña Brava in Chicago; Chef de Cuisine Eric Rubio co-founded Five Course Provision and previously worked at Michelin-starred Chez TJ in Mountain View for three years. Based at 82 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA, with events noted in the Bay Area and services extending to private residences and other locations. Couples highlight the collaborative menu-building process, culturally blended menus, attentive service staff, accommodation of dietary needs, and food that guests continued discussing days after the event.
