Elyse Events

Elyse Events is a San Luis Obispo wedding planning studio offering full-service design, planning, and management, led by owner and planner Elyse. The studio offers one comprehensive package covering vendor selection, to-scale layout creation, digital design mock-ups, timeline management, and full wedding day coordination by Elyse and two team members; Elyse describes her design focus as colorful, personality-driven weddings with twists of uniqueness. Elyse began assisting a local wedding planner in 2014, served as On-Site Coordinator and later in an expanded role at SeaVenture Beach Hotel and Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, launched Elyse Events independently in 2018, and served as Media and Marketing Director of the SLO Wedding Planners until the group closed in 2025. Based on the Central Coast of California, with the affiliated S'mores Cart based in Los Angeles and available to travel anywhere. Couples and vendor colleagues consistently highlight the team's attention to detail, calm under pressure, vendor coordination, and hands-on problem-solving, including Elyse fixing a hair emergency and coordinator Lauryn sewing a torn dress strap mid-reception.
