Indie Studios

Indie Studios is a Brooklyn-based independent film and stills production company, founded by Andrew Tyler White and Sam Bates, producing short films, music videos, fashion campaigns, and branded content. Indie Studios directs fashion films for designer brands and lookbooks, shoots on formats including 16mm and Super 8mm, and operates a full cinematography team of filmmakers, directors of photography, camera operators, and still photographers. Their work has appeared in publications including The Glass Magazine, Ladygunn, Schon Magazine, and Nasty Magazine. Founded by Andrew Tyler White and Sam Bates in 2018; Andrew White holds a BFA in Photography and Imaging from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has worked as a director, photographer, and cinematographer in New York City for over fifteen years. Based at 1109 DeKalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY, operating out of their own studio in New York City. Clients across music, fashion, and editorial work consistently highlight Andrew and Sam's sharp creative direction, communicative and organized workflow, and collaborative on-set environment.
