Cedar Star Catering

Cedar Star Catering is a Brooklyn-based kosher caterer founded by Chef Raisie Saad, a New York native of Lebanese-Jewish heritage, offering elevated kosher Middle Eastern cuisine for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and other celebrations. Chef Raisie blends global culinary technique with Lebanese-Jewish heritage flavors, operating out of a Glatt Kosher kitchen and also offering a weekly kosher meal service inspired by Sabbath foods. Chef Raisie trained at the Bishulim Culinary Institute in Tel Aviv and refined her craft in professional kitchens across Tel Aviv and New York City. Based in Brooklyn, with events documented in the Brooklyn area and New York City. Couples and hosts praise the delicious, beautifully presented food, Raisie's organized and communicative approach, and her ability to execute events smoothly even in venues without a kitchen; one couple noted she catered a 140-person Brooklyn wedding in September.
