Raging Skillet

The Raging Skillet is a New York City catering company led by Chef Rossi, a woman-owned and operated business now in its 35th year. Known as the anti-caterer, The Raging Skillet builds a custom menu for every event and offers service formats including family style, table-side French Service, and the Floating Supper; the food draws on fusions from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Cuba, New Orleans, Morocco, Jamaica, India, the Southwest, the Middle East, and Chef Rossi's Hungarian-Yiddish background, with strong accommodation for vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, kosher style, gluten free, and paleo diets. 2025 marked the company's 35th year; New York Magazine named them one of its Hottest Caterers of New York, New York Wedding named them best wedding caterer 16 years running, The Food Network called them eclectic, ethnic and off the wall, The New York Times dubbed them the Rebel Anti-Caterer, they won The Wedding Wire's Couple's Choice Award, and The Knot placed them in its Hall of Fame after 16 consecutive years (2009-2025) as one of its Top Five Wedding Caterers in New York. Based in New York City, with recommended-caterer status at venues including Ramscale Studios, The Foundry in Long Island City, The Bell House in Gowanus, the Dumbo Loft, The Greenpoint Loft, 501 Union, The Green Building, and The Hamilton Loft in Red Hook, among others.
