Roulette Intermedium is a Brooklyn-based 501c3 presenting organization and performance venue hosting experimental music, movement, and media performances at 509 Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. Roulette presents 120 or more experimental music, movement, and media performances each year alongside 150 or more community and rental events in its 12,000-square-foot beaux-arts theater, with a focus on new and unusual work by living composers and performers. Founded in a Tribeca loft in 1978 by five University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign graduates, Roulette has operated for over four decades and has awarded more than $2,300,000 to artists through its Awarded Artist Programs.
