The Shuk Music Group

The Shuk Music Group is a New York City-based Jewish and Israeli music band performing at weddings, bar mitzvahs, community events, festivals, and private events. The group blends traditional Jewish wedding music, Israeli pop, and contemporary hits, with a repertoire spanning Klezmer, liturgical pieces, and modern songs performed by an ensemble of Israeli musicians and vocalists. Founded in 2008 by Yoni Avital, a multi-instrumentalist and performing arts manager who has shared the stage with Matisyahu and David Broza, with performances across more than 30 countries. Based in New York City, with performances across cities including Philadelphia, Boston, Washington D.C., Miami, Los Angeles, London, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem, as well as across the United States and worldwide. Couples consistently note the band's versatility across traditional and contemporary repertoire, their ability to read the room and keep guests dancing, and their smooth, low-friction communication and professionalism from first contact through the event.
