Carissa Campbell founded Campbell Events in 2015 after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and directing catering across New York and Vermont; the studio has been featured in Brides, Carats and Cake, Love Inc, Ruffled, Anti Bride, Eater, and The New York Times, and has planned weddings at venues including Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Foundry, The Central Park Boathouse, and Cedar Lakes Estate. Based in Astoria near Brooklyn, Campbell Events works with couples across New York City and the Hudson Valley, with a focus on Brooklyn, Astoria, and Long Island City.
