Hillside Club

The Hillside Club is a historic Berkeley venue located at 2286 Cedar Street in North Berkeley, available for weddings and a variety of private and member events. The clubhouse features a stage, hardwood floors, abundant natural light from large windows, a kitchen, green rooms, and rentable amenities including a PA system, projector screen, spotlighting, and a piano. The current clubhouse was designed by architect John White and designated a City of Berkeley Landmark in 2004, with roots in the club's founding in the 1890s. Located at 2286 Cedar Street in North Berkeley, between Spruce and Arch streets, approximately one mile from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Couples who have held weddings here praise the beautiful lighting at any time of day, the stage and wood-accented interior, and the venue manager Araceli, who is noted for being responsive, flexible, and easy to work with.
