Jasmine Catering is a Berkeley-based catering company serving weddings and events across San Francisco, Berkeley, and the Bay Area, led by chef Oded Hilu. Jasmine Catering offers custom menus spanning Asian, Middle Eastern, French, Italian, and Californian cuisines, with dishes prepared from scratch using fresh and mostly local ingredients, including grass-fed meat, cage-free organic chicken, and pasture-raised eggs; vegetarian and kosher-style options are available. Chef Oded Hilu trained at the Culinary Institute of America in 1995, worked for five years at Bay Area restaurants including Cafe Rouge, Hawthorne Lane, and Rivoli, and founded Jasmine Catering in 2002. Jasmine Catering serves San Francisco, Berkeley, and the wider Bay Area, and is a preferred catering vendor at the Brazil Room in Berkeley. Couples highlight the responsive and knowledgeable communication from Oded during planning, the attentive and professional day-of staff, the ability to accommodate tight budgets and last-minute changes, and food that guests continued talking about after the event.
