Nan Phelps Photography is a Berkeley-based portrait photography studio led by Nan Phelps, working with families, couples, and individuals across life's milestones. Nan shoots on film and prints all fine black and white photographs herself using traditional silver gelatin paper, described as museum quality prints. Studio located at 398 Colusa Avenue, Berkeley, CA; previously served clients in the Bay Area. Reviewers highlight natural smiles, flattering lighting, good pricing, and a warm personality, with several noting they have returned to Nan for years of family portraits after initially booking her for a wedding.

This vendor hasn’t completed verification

Verified vendors have uploaded credentials such as a business license or proof of insurance, and our team reviewed each document by hand. Verification is a trust signal, not a requirement: you can still reach out, and payments run through Stripe either way.

Nan Phelps Photography hasn't claimed their United Vows profile yet, but you can still reach them.

We don't have an email address on file for Nan Phelps Photography, so we can't forward an inquiry to them. The way to reach them today is to call (510) 528-8845. You can still send one here — we'll keep it on your inquiries list, and it will be waiting for them the moment they claim this profile.

Two things worth knowing before you transact:

If your booking happens on United Vows: A $100 United Vows welcome or favor credit, if you hold one — this credit comes off one booking here, in full, funded from our commission on it, once that booking is a booking of $2,900 or more, paid to them in a single payment of at least $1,500 — you get messaging, quotes and contracts in one place, your payment runs securely through Stripe against a signed contract, and if the vendor no-shows, cancels close to your date or delivers nothing you can file a claim from the booking, which they have seven days to answer.
If the booking happens off-platform: none of the above. Your credits don't redeem. We can't help if anything goes sideways.

The simplest move: when you reach out, ask Nan Phelps Photography to claim their profile. It's free and takes a few minutes. It keeps your booking on the platform where everything we built for you actually works.
