Sand Rock Farm is an Aptos bed and breakfast and wedding venue, owned and managed by Derek and Jen Hagglof, offering lodging and events on a historic property. The property includes a redwood grove, a ceiling-less barrel room with old stone walls, a historic barn, and a Craftsman-style farmhouse; Jen also provides wedding cakes and on-site event planning as part of the experience. The site dates to 1887 and was converted into a bed and breakfast in 1999, with Sand Rock Farm earning a reputation as a wedding and elopement destination in the Santa Cruz area. Located at 6901 Freedom Blvd., Aptos, CA, the property accommodates group rentals for up to 18 guests and weddings of 2 to 120 guests. Couples highlight the flexibility of the venue's distinct spaces, the food and included wedding cake, on-site coordinator Cheryl and assistant coordinator Aryela, and the seamless handling of setup and cleanup by Jen and her team.
