San Jose Metropolitan Band

The San Jose Metropolitan Band (SJMB) is a community concert band based in San Jose, CA, made up of more than 50 members of all ages and available for hire for performances across the Santa Clara Valley. The band performs a mix of symphonic classics, show tunes, big band, contemporary works, marches, and seasonal music, with patriotic concerts for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Christmas being especially popular with audiences. Founded in 1967, SJMB has provided over 50 years of community service to the Santa Clara Valley, with regular annual clients including Los Gatos Memorial Park, San Jose's Metropolitan Adult Education Program, and Help One Child. The band performs throughout the Santa Clara Valley and surrounding Silicon Valley areas.
